Job summary

Satair in Copenhagen seeks an IT Infrastructure professional to manage a global Cisco-based network. You will document networks, liaise with vendors, and handle daily ITSM requests, contributing to security and modernization initiatives.

The role emphasizes Meraki exposure, firewall hands-on work, IaC practices, and ITIL-aligned processes. Fluency in English and a structured, detailed approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an IT Infrastructure role.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco networking; Meraki experience is a plus.
• Hands-on in firewall technologies; IaC experience preferred.
• Education in IT or a Bachelor degree; ITIL V4 Foundation is a plus.
• Experience with ITSM systems and strong English skills.

Job Description

Will join a team of skilled professionals, participate in IT Infrastructure projects and take care of Satair’s global network, consisting of Cisco ecosystem, NAC, Checkpoint Firewalls, VPN, Wifi and CATO Networks SASE solutions. The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining network documentation, coordinating with network support vendors to troubleshoot and support activities, and handling daily Service Requests through the IT Service Management tool.

Current projects you will be involved in:

• Cisco cloud managed (Meraki) transition
• Network integration with US based company that has recently joined Satair
• Migration to FWaaS
• Zero Trust Network implementation
• Security postures
• SAP Datacenter transition

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure role
• Deep knowledge and experience with Cisco network ecosystem (Meraki is a plus)
• Hands on experience with firewall technologies (Checkpoint is a plus)
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• IT-related education (IT Technician/Engineer) or a Bachelor degree
• Knowledge of ITIL framework, preferably certified in ITIL V4 Foundation
• Experience working with ITSM systems
• Fluent in English both written and verbally
• Written skills that demonstrate structure and care for the detail(s)
• Can offer valid references to attest your skills/personality
