Job summary

NACOS Marine seeks an experienced .NET Developer to join the R&D team in Hørsholm, Denmark, building software for the NACOS Platinum Platform across Windows, Linux, and embedded devices.

You will collaborate with global teams to deliver secure, scalable maritime software that meets cybersecurity standards and supports complex automation environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience developing .NET/C# applications.
• Experience with database design and development.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of network protocols and secure software deployment is advantageous.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting is beneficial.
• Experience with C/C++ or other languages is a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Understanding of maritime automation or OT environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET/C# applications for NACOS Platinum Platform.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer (m/f/d) to join our R&D team in Hørsholm, Denmark, where you will help develop the next generation of configuration, deployment, and communication systems for our NACOS Platinum Platform. Working with a combination of Windows, Linux, and proprietary embedded devices, you will design and develop software that supports complex maritime automation environments, including air-gapped, online, and hybrid operating scenarios. Collaborating closely with engineering, service, product management, and customers worldwide, you will contribute to building secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet maritime operational and cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET/C# applications supporting the NACOS Platinum Platform
• Develop software for configuration, deployment, and communication systems across Windows, Linux, and embedded environments

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Experience developing applications using .NET and C#
• Experience with database design and development
• Good understanding of software development best practices and modern development methodologies
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps environments is an advantage
• Understanding of network protocols and communication technologies
• Knowledge of Private Key injection and secure software deployment is considered an advantage
• Experience with PowerShell scripting is beneficial
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems, operational technology (OT), or maritime environments is an advantage
• Experience with C/C++ or other programming languages is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
