DTU Compute in Denmark invites applications for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD fellowship in Embedded Systems Engineering. You will join 15 Doctoral Candidates of the MSCA Doctoral Network AEGIS, coordinated by Prof.

Paul Pop with European partners. The project is software and algorithms focused: you will design methods to decide where AI workloads run and when datacenter sites shift power use, enabling hundreds of sites to act as a carbon-efficient grid resource.

Qualifications

• Strong background in algorithms and data structures.
• Willingness to learn optimization methods in a research setting.
• Interest in software and data-driven approaches to energy-aware datacenters.

Responsibilities

• Design algorithms and build software that decide where AI workloads run and when datacenter sites change their power use.
