Job summary

DTU Compute’s Embedded Systems Engineering (ESE) section has a postdoc opening within the AEGIS Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network. You will build and maintain interfaces, co-simulation framework and artifacts, and help publish and co-supervise students.

The role places you at the center of a European network, collaborating with academic and industrial partners to advance grid-interactive edge datacenters and digital twins. A PhD in computer science or related field is required.

Qualifications

  • PhD in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong software engineering skills; design of APIs and schemas; integration of heterogeneous components.
  • Experience writing synthesis texts and turning inputs from multiple contributors into coherent publications.
  • Independent execution: turning goals into plans and following through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain technical assets that connect AEGIS projects and turn them into publications.
  • Work with the coordinator and partners; assist in administration of AEGIS (25%).
  • Define and maintain the AEGIS interface schema and components, signals, units, and time scales.
  • Develop the AEGIS co-simulation framework (Python time-step simulator) and adapters for partner models.
  • Lead and co-author cross-cutting publications and supervise MSc/PhD students when possible.
