Job summary

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead the Drive Train development for Onshore 6–8 MW turbines. You will own from concept to market launch, ensuring manufacturability, cost targets and performance.

You’ll guide a matrix team of 30–40 across design, manufacturing, procurement and supplier quality in a multicultural setting. You will manage scope, deliverables and risks, partnering with stakeholders to meet budgets and timelines while maintaining high quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in R&D projects.
• International PM certification (PMP or IPMA) at C Level or above.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent English; Spanish is an advantage.
• Engineering degree; Mechanical or Industrial preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Lead all product development activities for the drive train module from design to supplier integration, cost optimization, prototype, industrialization and final launch.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in close alignment with stakeholders.
• Deliver manufacturable designs and products that meet quality, cost, and functionality targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close technical challenges and deliver project needs.
• Manage project risks, governance, and interface alignment while monitoring cost, quality, time, and customer satisfaction KPIs.

Join us in shaping the future of renewable energy by leading the development of our Onshore wind turbine Drive Train Module in 6-8MW & NG Platform. You’ll take full ownership of product development from concept to market launch, ensuring designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet performance targets. What You Bring
