Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Drive Train Module development for our 6–8 MW Onshore turbines, from concept through to market launch.

You will mentor a matrix team of 30–40 professionals across design, manufacturing, procurement and supplier quality, balancing technical leadership with strategic project management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager in similar R&D projects.
• International Project Management certification (PMP or IPMA) at C Level or above.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent English communication; Spanish is an advantage.
• An engineering degree; Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead all drive train development activities for the drive train module, from design to supplier integration, cost optimization, prototype, industrialization and final launch.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in close alignment with stakeholders.
• Deliver manufacturable designs and product that meet quality, cost, and functionality targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close technical challenges and deliver project needs.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, governance, and interface alignment while monitoring cost, quality, time, and customer satisfaction KPIs.

Join us in shaping the future of renewable energy by leading the development of our Onshore wind turbine Drive Train Module in 6-8MW & NG Platform. You’ll take full ownership of product development from concept to market launch, ensuring designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet performance targets.
