Job summary

IN Groupe in Denmark seeks a Front-end/App Tester to ensure mobile and web apps perform across devices and OS. You will verify usability, stability, and end-to-end flows in the MitID app and related services, with a focus on front-end tests, GUI, security, performance, and interoperability.

The role requires a technical testing education, 5+ years of testing, ISTQB Foundation, Scrum experience, and strong Danish/English communication.

Qualifications

• A technical education within software testing or software development.

• ISTQB Foundation certified as a minimum.
• Hands-on experience with multiple OS, browsers and mobile devices/apps.

• Advanced communication skills in Danish and English (written and spoken).

About The Team

You'll join a team of experienced and dedicated colleagues who share a strong commitment to delivering secure, stable, and high-quality digital identity solutions. At MitID, reliability and IT security are at the core of everything we build, ranging from applied cryptography to user-facing authentication flows. The team works in a collaborative Scrum setup with architects, developers, business analysts, testers, a Product Owner, and other key stakeholders. Together, we design and deliver enhancements and updates to the MitID platform.

About The Role

As a Front-end/App Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring that our mobile and web applications work flawlessly across platforms, devices, and usage scenarios. You will be deeply involved in verifying usability, stability, and end-to-end flows in the MitID app and related services.

Regarding test, our focus is wide and covers test of both functional and non-functional requirements, e.g. frontend-based use cases, GUI, security, performance, interface integrations and interoperability with different OS and browser versions. We work with continuous product improvement, and the system is complex, so a continuous test effort is key to ensure we deliver an app in the quality expected for a nationally wide used solution such as MitID.

Main Responsibilities

• Take part in analysis of changes to business logic and contribute to the design of new features
• Take responsibility for the end-to-end test process, from identifying the test basis, over test case design, to setting up the test set structure and monitoring the execution progress
• Maintain, improve and expand our test coverage
• Execute tests on different operating systems, browsers and mobile devices
• Execute both exploratory and structured tests to ensure high-quality app behavior
• Analyse test results and take part in risk assessments of discovered bugs
• Support application release cycles and participate in deployments of new versions
• Release content overview: Create and maintain an overview of content in a release and how it will be covered with test
• Risk evaluation of release content: Evaluate the overall test effort for a release, and discuss with testers how to mitigate any risks
• Align task scope with available time

Requirements

• A technical education within software testing or software development

• Hands-on experience working with multiple operating systems, browsers, and mobile devices / apps
• Experience with agile development and Scrum

• Advanced communication skills in Danish as well as English (both written and spoken)
• Experience with Jira and test management tools
