Job summary

GemPool Recruitment is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator for a major data centre project in Denmark. You will coordinate mechanical and electrical activities, ensuring clear communication between engineering teams, subcontractors and site operations.

You will review drawings and specs, manage RFIs and design queries, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and to quality standards. This permanent role offers international exposure and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating MEP installations across large projects.

• Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or industrial builds.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and engineering docs.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of coordination between MEP subcontractors, design teams and site management.

• Work with mechanical, electrical, CSA and commissioning teams.
• Monitor construction progress, QA/QC, and technical risks.
• Identify and resolve potential design and installation conflicts.
• Support QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project requirements.

GemPool Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced MEP Coordinator to join a leading international engineering contractor on a major data centre project in Denmark.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale European construction project, coordinating mechanical and electrical activities and ensuring effective communication between engineering teams, subcontractors and site operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating MEP installations, resolving technical challenges and ensuring project delivery meets the required quality standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities across multiple work packages.
• Act as the main point of coordination between MEP subcontractors, design teams and site management.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and submittals to ensure effective project delivery.
• Manage RFIs and design queries, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical, CSA and commissioning teams.
• Monitor construction progress, quality standards and technical risks.
• Identify and resolve potential design and installation conflicts.
• Support QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an MEP Coordinator, MEP Engineer or similar position.
• Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience working on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or industrial construction projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Knowledge of construction processes, QA/QC procedures and commissioning activities.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Contract: Permanent.
• Rotation: 3 weeks on, 1 week off.
