At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.
We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the "Tunnel village" in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.
The TE systems are part of the scope of the Marine team as temporary measures to facilitate the immersion of the elements. In total, 79 standard (220m long, 9m high, 45m wide) and 10 special elements (38m long, 12,5m high, 50m wide) will connect the Femern Belt Tunnel to both Germany and Denmark.
To be able to float up, transport and immerse the Tunnel Elements, the elements require temporary installations. These installations ensure that the elements float, stay balanced, immerse and can connect to the preceding element. A team of mechanics and electricians will install and test these installations.
Execute the TE systems works whilst coordinating closely and effectively with the involved (internal) stakeholders to optimize efficiency.

You will lead the team of technicians installing, maintaining and repairing the Tunnel Elements systems during the preparation, transport and installation phase of Tunnel Elements. Understand the functionality of the Tunnel Element systems. Troubleshoot system during installation and operation. Maintain and organize the work area (workshop and yard facilities) to ensure an orderly and safe workplace in compliance with Danish regulation, company procedures, and good work practice. Set up, select and support the TE systems team of technicians to ensure effective and reliable production cycle.
In the role of the Mechanical Supervisor, there will be interface with subcontractors, Operational departments of various disciplines and operations staff.
