Job summary

GEA Group in Søborg seeks a mechanical engineer to own component design from concept through to finished part, collaborating with global teams and suppliers. You will develop 3D models and detailed drawings using Inventor and Vault, standardize products, and prepare documentation for quality and compliance.

The role requires independence, initiative, and strong communication across functions. You will work with wave processes and large equipment in a global, project‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with hygienic design and PED knowledge.
• Fluent in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Own component design from concept to manufactured part.
• Develop 3D models and manufacturing drawings with Inventor and Vault.
• Coordinate with purchasing, QC, and workshops to ensure quality of final product.
• Collaborate across Denmark and India engineering teams.
