Job summary

GEA Process Engineering A/S is seeking a design engineer for the Engineering & Automation department in Søborg, Denmark. You will adapt 3D component templates and prepare detailed workshop drawings with BOM for manufacturing.

You will own projects from design to commissioning, collaborating with workshops worldwide to ensure quality and timely delivery of our spray drying components. Fluency in English is required; Danish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background as machine engineer or technical designer.
• Proficiency with Inventor (3D).
• Independent, thorough and structured work style.
• Good communication with workshops and teams.
• Fluent English; Danish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Adapt 3D component templates to customer needs and create manufacturing drawings (AutoCAD Mechanical 2D or Inventor 3D).
• Standardize and develop spray drying components.
• Procurement/delivery preparation and technical documentation.
• Inspect components at workshops and coordinate with project teams.
• Provide site support during installation and post‑sale follow‑up.
