Job summary

GEA is seeking a design engineer for its Engineering & Automation team in Søborg, Denmark. You will adapt 3D component templates, produce detailed drawings with BOM, and work closely with workshops, project managers, and the component product owner to deliver robust spray drying solutions.

You will own projects from design to commissioning, stay hands-on through installation, and support the supply chain and after-sales teams across locations globally.

Qualifications

• Background as machine engineer or technical designer.
• Experience with Inventor (3D) and AutoCAD Mechanical.
• Strong communication and ability to work with workshops.

Responsibilities

• Adapt 3D component templates to customer requirements and create manufacturing drawings.
• Standardize and develop spray drying components.
• Prepare technical manuals and risk assessments.
• Inspect components at workshops and coordinate with teams.
• Provide site support during installation and after sales support.
