Job summary

GEA Process Engineering A/S in Søborg, Denmark, is seeking a design engineer in the Engineering & Automation department to join a team of component specialists. You will design spray drying components in 3D and prepare manufacturing drawings, collaborating with project management and workshops to ensure proper production and installation.

You will work with Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical, and engage with workshops, procurement, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Background as machine engineer, technical designer or similar.
• Experience with Inventor (3D).
• Independent, thorough and structured.
• Willingness to work with production workshops.
• Full professional English proficiency; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design adaptation of spray drying components in 3D and create manufacturing drawings.
• Standardize, optimize and further develop spray drying components.
• Procurement / delivery preparation.
• Prepare technical manuals, risk assessments and related documentation.
• Inspect components at workshops.
• Collaborate with business units and workshops for project follow-up.
• Provide site support during installation and after-sales support.
• Support supply chain activities related to projects.
