Job summary

COWI is seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead for our data centre projects across Scandinavia. The role focuses on leading mechanical design, coordinating across engineering disciplines and delivering robust, energy-efficient solutions for hyperscale facilities.

You will contribute from early planning through detailed design and implementation, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background in engineering.
• Proven experience delivering data centre projects, ideally hyperscale, colocation or enterprise environments.
• Experience leading technical design work within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and advisory services for data centre facilities.
• Act as the discipline lead, ensuring technical quality and coordination throughout projects.
• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for hyperscale and enterprise data centers.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions.
• Support projects through concept development, detailed design, tendering and construction phases.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and efficient technical solutions.
