Job summary

COWI is expanding its data centre practice in Scandinavia and is seeking a Mechanical Lead to shape the design and delivery of mission-critical facilities, translating client needs into robust, future-ready solutions.

You will lead mechanical design within multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and colleagues across engineering, architecture and sustainability, and help grow the capability as data centres become a strategic growth area.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background in engineering.
• Experience with design of data centres, engineering consultancy, technical advisory or complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience from data centre projects or other large-scale mission critical projects.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and advisory for data centre facilities.
• Contribute to data centre projects, ensuring coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Translate customer needs into robust mechanical solutions.
• Support project development from concept through design and construction.
• Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, architecture, sustainability and environmental advisory.
