Job summary

DIS/CREADIS in Kolding, Denmark, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our office as a consultant on diverse development projects for leading industrial customers. You will split time between our office and on-site assignments, handling mechanical design, 3D CAD modelling, prototype testing, and design reviews, while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.

Strong communication in English is required; Danish is helpful.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 3–5 years of experience within mechanical design and product development.
• Enjoy working as a consultant, take ownership of projects, and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Experience with one or more 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or Siemens NX, with understanding of manufacturing methods and design principles.
• Experience in areas such as special purpose machinery, process equipment, product or device development, structural design, or FEM calculations.
• Communicate confidently in English; Danish is an advantage but not required.
• Experience with CE marking, Machinery Directive, FMEA, or tolerance calculations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and product development.

• Concept development, detailed design, and design reviews.
• Prototype development, testing, and validation.
• Close collaboration with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
