Job summary

Welltec is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Design & Engineering (D&E) team in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You will contribute to the development of mechanical systems from concept through to commercial design, working with a global team and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes ownership, proactive problem solving and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies in the oilfield sector. A background in Mechatronics or hydraulics is a plus, with Catia CAD and ANSYS FEAs

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree (B.Sc./M.Sc. or equivalent).
• Experience in oilfield, energy sector, hydraulics, precision mechanics or mechatronics is a plus.
• Proactive, takes ownership of tasks and projects and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical systems from concept to detailed design and manufacturing release.
• Prototype assembly, testing and troubleshooting of designs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and with subcontractors to deliver milestones.
• Own project schedules and delivery times, ensuring robust design decisions.
