Job summary

Welltec is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Design & Engineering team in our global operations. You will develop tools, participate in all development phases, and perform 3D mechanical design and testing of prototypes.

The ideal candidate has a B.Sc./M.Sc. in mechanical engineering, hands-on testing experience, and Agile project management skills, with travel to project sites as needed. CATIA proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineer with BSc/MSc.
• Experience in energy sector, hydraulics, precision mechanics, electromechanical systems, mechatronics or oilfield.
• Hands-on testing, verification and systematic troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel to support project activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop new tools to solve cutting-edge problems.
• Work on technical projects through all development phases.
• 3D mechanical design and component integration.
• Plan, prepare and perform testing of prototypes and systems.
• Contribute to design reviews guided by DFM, FMEA principles and robust design thinking.
• Collaborate across teams and provide input from your area of expertise.
