What You’ll Do
- Design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, and assemblies for Pascal’s professional audio amplifiers and modules
- Collaborate closely with electronics engineers, sourcing, and cross-functional R&D teams to balance functionality, manufacturability, and design quality
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D production drawings using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
- Conduct simulations, analyses, and tolerance studies to ensure reliability, performance, and production readiness
- Support prototyping, validation, and verification testing, helping refine designs through hands‑on iteration
- Drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) efforts in close collaboration with suppliers and production partners
- Work with materials, surface treatments, and production processes to ensure robust and scalable product designs
- Contribute to product construction and assembly concepts with a strong understanding of how products are built in practice
- Keep documentation sharp and communication clear — ensuring mechanical design inputs align with project goals and milestones
- Expect approximately 15 days of international travel yearly, primarily related to supplier visits.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical or product development, preferably within audio, consumer electronics, or similar industries
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks and familiarity with simulation and prototyping
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and surface treatments
- A strong analytical mindset combined with an eye for aesthetics — you care about both performance and user experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
- Fluent English skills.
It’s a Plus If You Also Bring
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of thermal conditions, vibration, or acoustics in electronic products
- Experience with product construction and assembly principles
- An interest or passion for professional audio products
- Danish language skills.
