Job summary

EPOS Group A/S in Copenhagen invites a student to join the Audio Engineering team as a Student Assistant, contributing to acoustics and sound quality evaluation. You will work up to 15 hours per week in our labs, gaining hands-on experience in measurement setups and lab calibration.

The role is ideal for a BSc/MSc student in acoustics with interest in test equipment and soldering. Strong English communication and a proactive, structured approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background toward acoustics; BSc or MSc student with ~2 years left.
• Experience with acoustic measurement devices is preferred.
• Hands-on lab experience and soldering do not scare you.
• Passion for sound and keen interest in acoustics and measurement.
• English communication skills; reliable, structured and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve acoustic lab facilities and performance.
• Help standardize measurement systems and keep labs calibrated over time.
• Perform acoustical and sound quality evaluation measurements.
• Assist with video testing when needed.

• Be part of ensuring always nice acoustic lab facilities
• Help make standardized measurement systems & keep the labs standardized over time
• Help us with standard acoustical and sound quality evaluation measurements
• Ensure that our labs stay calibrated over time
• Besides audio testing, then video testing might also be needed
• Working hours: Up to 15 hours a week

What EPOS Is Looking For

• Relevant educational background - preferable studying acoustics, BSc or MSc student with approx. 2 years left of studies
• Preferably you will have experience with acoustic measurement devices
• You have practical flair in working with lab-setups and soldering does not scare you.
• You have a general passion for sound
• English communication skills
• As a person: You are stable, flexible, open-minded, structured, solution-oriented & self-driven.
