Job summary
Danfoss Power Solutions in Nordborg is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to own and drive improvements in the Machining Value Stream for hydraulic valve solutions. You will enhance equipment performance, production efficiency, and product quality through daily technical problem solving and automation initiatives.
You will collaborate with Production, Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to achieve targets and deliver operational excellence while ensuring compliance with quality
Qualifications
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, specs, and documentation.
- Technical background in manufacturing, production technology, mechanics, or automation.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive improvements from idea to implementation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve a manufacturing process area to boost safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Support daily production performance by troubleshooting issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Monitor and optimize key metrics like OEE and First Part Yield to identify improvements.
- Collaborate across Production, Planning, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and others to hit targets and drive excellence.
- Lead automation, digitalization, and CAPEX projects while ensuring Danfoss quality standards.
