Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in Aalborg seeks a skilled professional to be the digital and analytical backbone of our Operational Excellence team. You convert production and value-stream data into reliable reporting, simulations and digital solutions that guide lead time, flow, capacity and productivity on the factory floor.

You will design Power BI reports, run simulations, build automation and translate complex outputs into clear recommendations for IT, Engineering, Planning, Finance and Production.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with digitalization and data in an operational/industrial environment.
• Experience with Python for simulation, analysis and automation preferred.
• Good knowledge of Excel required.
• Proven simulation experience delivering results.
• Power BI capability including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, report design and performance optimization is a plus.
• Coding skills and a focus on data software development are a big plus.
• Professional proficiency in Danish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Power BI reports and data models for performance reviews and insight into lead time, productivity and bottlenecks.
• Develop and run simulations of production flow, capacity, constraints and queues from assumptions to validated conclusions.
• Build digital applications and automation to improve flow, standard work and decision-making.
• Write and maintain code behind analytics, applications and integration models.
• Translate complex analytical output into clear, actionable recommendations with visible assumptions and sensitivities.
• Collaborate with OE Business Partners, Program Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure adoption and value delivery.
