Job summary

Terma Group in Denmark is seeking a Manager to lead and grow a software engineering team within Defense Air. You will align priorities with architects, project managers, and systems engineers, while fostering a supportive team culture and ensuring high-quality delivery for mission-critical systems.

You will shape team growth, balance capacity with project needs, and maintain a close connection to users, mission, and purpose.

In Defense Air, we develop software for advanced defense systems that help protect pilots in the air, crews at sea, and the missions they support — from training and mission preparation to operations and real-world conflict situations. Your role in our team

As our new Manager, you will lead and develop a software engineering team in Defense Air. You will work closely with architects, project managers, systems engineers, scrum masters, and other leaders to align priorities, manage capacity, and keep expectations realistic. The team culture is strong, with good support across daily work and informal social activities. We care about the work, and we care about the people doing it.

You should have practical experience with people leadership — either as a manager or from a role with clear responsibility for people, priorities, and collaboration.

A background as a software engineer is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Security clearance requirements
