Job summary

KPMG Denmark is seeking a Manager to lead Sourcing & Procurement consulting, shaping solutions that optimize procurement and redefine value in complex business environments. You will drive client projects, advise on AI-enabled procurement transformation and contribute to market development while coaching junior consultants.

You will work at the intersection of sourcing, technology, and business transformation, building relationships and expanding KPMG's market position in Denmark.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA or engineering).
• 6–12 years of experience in sourcing and procurement—preferably from consulting or large companies.
• Proven experience in business development, customer engagement, and sales activities.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract management.
• Experience with digital transformation, procurement technology, analytics, or AI-enabled initiatives.
• Ability to blend strategic thinking with technology-driven problem solving.
• Excellent analytical skills and business acumen.
• Interest in Generative AI and related technologies creating business value.
• Fluency in Danish and English (spoken and written).

What You Will Be Doing

As a manager our team, you will play a central role in both project delivery and business development. You will manage strategic procurement projects while also contributing to the development of KPMG's market position in sourcing and procurement. The role combines deep professional knowledge and commercial understanding and requires the ability to build good working relationships - both internally and externally.

Beyond traditional sourcing and procurement projects, you will advise clients on how emerging technologies, AI, automation, and digital platforms can reshape procurement operating models, supplier ecosystems, and workforce capabilities. You will help clients identify where technology creates value and translate innovation into practical business outcomes.

In practice, that means:

• Advise clients on sourcing strategies, sourcing models, supplier selection and supplier management.
• Advise clients on the adoption of emerging technologies across sourcing, supplier management, and procurement functions.
• Manage end-to‑end sourcing projects – from analysis and business case development to operations and contract management.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including spend analyses, sourcing initiatives, and contract management.
• Advice on the use of AI and digitalization in relation to procurement and lead workstreams related to AI‑enabled procurement transformation and digital operating models.
• Identify new business opportunities and support sales processes and proposal writing.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve business performance.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market initiatives in the relevant areas.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Contribute to thought leadership and market development within procurement transformation, AI, and digital innovation.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement across organizations.
• Coach and develop junior consultants within the team.

What We Are Looking For

• Relevant higher education (e.g., Master's in Business Administration, Master's in Engineering).
• Minimum 6‑12 years of experience in sourcing and procurement – preferably from the consulting industry or larger companies.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, customer engagement, and sales activities.
• Solid experience with strategic sourcing, sourcing models, and supplier selection, contract management, and supplier management.
• Experience working with digital transformation, procurement technology, analytics, or AI‑enabled business initiatives.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with technology‑enabled problem solving.
• Solid analytical skills and good business acumen.
• Keen interest in how Generative AI and emerging technologies can create business value.
• Fluent in Danish and English – both spoken and written.
