Job summary

Kamstrup invites a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead multiple indirect sourcing categories, including Professional Services, Logistics, Employee Cost, Marketing and Facilities. You will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, analyze spend, negotiate contracts, and lead supplier relationships.

Join a collaborative Indirect Sourcing team of five with 40+ years of combined experience, based at Kamstrup's Stilling HQ between Aarhus and Skanderborg.

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Degree in commercial or technical field.
• Ability to read, understand and navigate legal contracts.
• Fluent in English and Danish.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze a sourcing category spend, suppliers, contracts, stakeholder demand and market trends.
• Identify opportunities and draft a prioritized plan and strategy with stakeholders.
• Drive strategy execution via RFPs, renegotiations, and scope changes.
• Manage supplier relations with key partners.
• Contribute ideas to the Indirect sourcing team to drive continuous improvement.

Here Is What The Job Entails

As our next Senior Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for two or more of our Indirect Sourcing categories, including Professional Services, Logistics, Employee Cost, Marketing, and Facilities. In this role, you will focus on optimizing sourcing performance and creating value across selected indirect sourcing categories while driving strategic sourcing initiatives based on identified opportunities.

More specifically, you will be:

• Analyzing a sourcing category spend, suppliers, contracts, internal stakeholder demand and relevant supply market, and their respective trends
• Identifying sourcing opportunities and drafting a prioritized plan and strategy for the specific sourcing category in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Executing on the strategy by driving Request for Proposals (RFPs), conducting re‑negotiations, and changing and/or redefining the scope of specific supplier engagement
• Managing supplier relations with selected key partners
• Engaging in the Indirect sourcing team with your ideas and experience in order to secure continuous improvement

With a direct reference to our Director of Mechanical Direct Materials & Indirect Sourcing, you will become a part of Indirect Sourcing. Our team consists of 5 dedicated colleagues with a combined 40+ years of experience within Sourcing. Together, we are responsible for seven Indirect Sourcing categories and three direct-to-customer categories, covering more than 1,000 suppliers. On a daily basis, we foster an open and informal atmosphere where knowledge sharing, new ideas, and constructive challenges are welcome as part of our continuous journey towards improvement and excellence.

We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager with a curious mindset who is ready to strengthen our Indirect Sourcing. You enjoy navigating complex challenges, building strong relationships, and identifying opportunities that create long term value for the business and its stakeholders. Moreover, you achieve work-related goals by combining analytical capabilities with excellent stakeholder management skills, allowing you to engage stakeholders across the organization, and on higher management level.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

• Have a degree within a commercial or technical field, or a similar discipline
• Have 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Bring solid analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills focused on identifying and delivering value-adding solutions for stakeholders and customers alike
• Are able to read, understand, and navigate legal contracts
• Demonstrate good presentation skills, both verbally and visually
