Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking an experienced B2C Logistics Team Lead for the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Denmark) to drive operational excellence, optimize delivery performance, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction across three countries. This local senior leadership role will require strategic direction, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of final mile logistics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience working with or for B2C carriers.
• Expert in Middle & Final mile delivery networks with data-driven improvements.
• P&L and contract management with supplier negotiations.
• Understanding of logistics tech systems for stakeholder engagement.
• Strong leadership and people management with engaged teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including Google Workspace, SQL, Power BI and AI.
• Fluent in English and Danish.
• Experience with perishable products is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own relationships with Middle & Final mile 3PLs to improve performance, customer experience, and costs.
• Track carrier metrics (OTD, service quality, reliability) and develop actionable insights.
• Lead and motivate the Logistics Performance Team with clear goals.
• Own full P&L and contract management to reduce delivery costs.
• Create long-term data-driven initiatives and select new partners.

We are seeking an experienced B2C Logistics Team Lead for the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, and Denmark) to lead our Logistics Performance Team. In this local senior leadership role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing logistics performance, and ensuring a high level of customer delivery satisfaction across the region.

The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, manage team performance, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and implement initiatives that enhance delivery reliability, efficiency, and the overall customer experience.

What You'll Do (The Recipe)

Performance Management:

• Senior point of contact owning relationships with our Middle & Final mile 3PL's with a focus on improving performance, overall customer experience and reducing costs.
• Track and analyse carrier metrics, such as OTD, service quality & reliability, cost efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and develop actionable insights.
• Crisis management e.g. mitigating delivery risks (eg snow) to ensure minimal disruption to service.

Team Leadership

• Lead and motivate your team, leading by example at all times and exemplifying HelloFresh DNA.
• Ownership and continuous improvement of our best in class engagement scores, making HelloFresh and specifically the Logistics department a great place to work.
• Relentless prioritisation and open communication to ensure everyone is working towards the same goals.

Budget Management

• Full P&L ownership.
• Contract management, reducing delivery costs through supplier negotiations and other creative initiatives.

Innovation

• Create long term solutions to reduce delivery errors in conjunction with our key suppliers and internal teams, with a strong focus on using data to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
• Evaluate new partner opportunities, deciding the selection and onboarding of new carriers based on performance, service capabilities, and cost-effectiveness.
• Workcross functionally, representing the logistics department whilst also supporting wider business initiatives that improve customer experience and retention.
• Evaluate customer NPS and Trustpilot feedback to identify key opportunity areas and set mid / long term initiatives to improve customer sentiment.
• Set the long term strategy alongside the business objectives, drilling these down into quarterly OKR's and KPI's that cascade through all members of your team.

What You'll Bring (Your Ingredients)

• Minimum of 5+ years experience working with or for B2C carriers.
• You will be an expert in Middle & Final mile delivery networks with a demonstrable track record of improving performance using data to challenge and measure. Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset is a must. Industry relationships are a must.
• P&L and contract management experience negotiating rates and T&Cs with suppliers.
• Understanding of Logistics tech systems to be able to engage with technical stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and people management experience with strong evidence of building engaged teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating our egoless DNA value daily.
• Strong problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges. You're pro-active, ambitious and make things happen.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Google suites, SQL, Power BI and AI.
• Fluent in English and Danish.
• Experience working with perishable products and the differences in final mile process required is desirable.
