Job summary

Fluor seeks a Principal Process / Specialty Engineer with extensive Life Sciences experience to lead feasibility studies and concept designs for new facilities and retrofits. You will interface with clients, discipline engineers, vendors, and project teams from Fluor’s Project Development Studio.

This senior role requires strong leadership, capability to guide multidisciplinary teams, and ability to develop integrated conceptual designs aligned with regulatory and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year engineering degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead front-end process design in Life Sciences.
• Experience delivering FEED/feasibility studies and basis of design assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design basis from first principles and manage feasibility studies.
• Coordinate interfaces across architectural, HVAC, electrical and automation disciplines.
• Develop process models, PFDs, and heat/mass balances for life sciences facilities.
• Prepare equipment lists, cost estimates, and support for proposals.
• Mentor teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development.
