Job summary

BASE life science A/S in Denmark is seeking an AI Product Developer to build robust AI-powered software for life sciences, collaborating with clinical and regulatory experts to turn AI capabilities into trusted products with secure, scalable cloud deployments.

You will design tools for document management, retrieval, summarisation, and classification with source traceability, and work on APIs, data layers, and integrations across regulated cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and modern software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Experience building secure, scalable APIs and services.
• Track record of integrating AI/LLM into products.
• Knowledge of security, multi-tenancy, and auditability in regulated environments.
• Strong English communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI-powered tools for life sciences workflows.
• Develop features like retrieval, summarisation, document comparison, QA, and classification with source traceability.
• Design scalable APIs, services, and deployment platforms.
• Ensure security and auditable cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams.
