Job summary

ABB A/S in Denmark is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Life Science DCS and Automation team. You will lead an international group of engineers delivering advanced automation solutions for significant Life Science projects in Denmark, with employees based at Ballerup and Kalundborg.

Regular site presence and travel between locations are expected to ensure project success and team development. You will blend people leadership, planning, and technical insight to drive successful execution,

Qualifications

Experience leading engineering teams in automation or related industries.
Knowledge of DCS platforms such as ABB 800xA, DeltaV, Sattline or comparable control systems.
Understanding of pharmaceutical production environments and GMP/GxP requirements.
Experience supporting control system lifecycle activities, upgrades or migrations.
Ability to develop employees and foster learning and collaboration.
Strong communication with customers, engineers and managers.
Proficiency in English and Danish.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of automation engineers working with DCS solutions for pharmaceutical facilities.
Build competencies within ABB 800xA and GMP-regulated automation projects.
Support strategic growth of Life Science Operations and its service offerings.
Ensure effective resource planning and allocation across projects and customer activities.
Drive quality delivery through coaching, technical guidance and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to align project execution with business and compliance requirements.
Contribute to operational planning and decision-making as part of the management team.
Promote employee engagement and a collaborative culture across locations.
