Job summary

ABB in Denmark seeks an Engineering Manager for the Life Science DCS and Automation team. You will lead an international group delivering advanced automation solutions for significant Life Science projects across Ballerup and Kalundborg, with weekly site presence and travel between locations.

You will combine people leadership, planning, and technical know-how to ensure successful project execution and staff development.

Qualifications

Experience leading engineering teams in automation environments.
Knowledge of DCS platforms such as ABB 800xA, DeltaV, or similar.
Understanding of pharmaceutical production and GxP requirements.
Experience supporting control system lifecycle activities and migrations.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of automation engineers across DCS projects.
Ensure resource planning and allocation across multiple pharma facilities.
Drive quality delivery through coaching and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with customers, project managers, and technical specialists to align with compliance and business goals.
