Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT architect to own and evolve the Veeva Safety platform architecture, focusing on Vault Safety configurations, case-processing workflows, and cross-system data flows.

You will lead platform design, governance, and integrations while mentoring delivery teams and advising stakeholders on roadmap implications and emerging features like VeevaAI for safety use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years' experience in IT architecture with governance and platform design.
• Demonstrated expertise architecting enterprise pharmacovigilance or safety case management platforms.
• Direct Vault Safety experience is a plus, not a prerequisite.
• Experience with the Veeva Vault platform is an asset.
• Strong understanding of scalable cloud architectures and modern integration patterns (APIs, event-based integrations, data pipelines).
• Proven ability to mentor senior colleagues, influence stakeholders, and solve cross-functional challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Veeva Safety platform architecture and data flows across systems.
• Take architectural ownership of the live Vault Safety platform and prioritize the roadmap.
• Own architectural integrity of safety data flows from intake to case visibility across channels.
• Design and govern integrations between Vault Safety and enterprise systems.
• Provide active technical leadership to delivery teams working on safety Veeva products.
• Review solution designs and guide configuration choices to reduce complexity.
• Contribute to architecture governance and ADR authoring.
• Advise stakeholders on platform capabilities and roadmap implications.
