Job summary

Jobtailor in Copenhagen seeks a senior project leader to deliver major WTG and OSS foundation design projects for offshore wind with international clients. You will act as the main client contact and provide project leadership for detailed design, ensuring objectives and safety standards are met.

You will manage contracts, risk and budgets, oversee cross-disciplinary integration, and drive reporting while supporting business development in a high-growth setting.

Job description

Deliver and coordinate major WTG and OSS foundation design projects
Act as the main client contact and provide project leadership for detailed design projects
Strategically meet project objectives and manage client expectations
Manage project financial performance and commercial success
Ensure technical integration across disciplines and accountability for final technical deliverables
Manage contractual aspects, requirements, change, risk, safety and budget
Work closely with project design teams on technical topics and key design decisions
Prepare detailed management reporting on project requirements, programme, resources/budget, risk register and project management
Engage regularly with clients and external parties
Develop industry networks and support business development
Support senior management and model professional project management culture

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience leading and taking accountability of detailed foundation design projects in offshore wind with international clients
• Experience managing major complex projects
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree (MSc or PhD) in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or a related field relevant for offshore wind is advantageous
• Broad technical knowledge of WTG and OSS offshore wind foundations and sector-specific engineering challenges
• Profound experience with contract and risk management
• Track record of senior stakeholder engagement and client relationship management
• Experience from a similar position in consulting engineering is advantageous
• Very strong decision-making skills and judgement capabilities
• Experience of achieving high levels of project team well-being
• Well-organised mindset adaptable to a high-growth company
