Job summary

VELUX A/S in Østbirk invites an experienced Senior Program Planner to orchestrate integrated programme schedules across multiple development tracks. You will partner with project managers, programme leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and momentum.

In this role you will maintain master schedules, manage dependencies and risks, and enable scenario planning to support informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Planner, Scheduler, or in a similar role on large-scale programmes.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Project.
• Experience creating structured plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Ability to review, validate, and challenge planning inputs to maintain quality.
• Understanding of programme governance and establishment of standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.
• Independent, proactive, and accurate with attention to detail.
• Adaptable as plans evolve and respond to change.
• Supportive mindset, able to mentor plan owners.
• Formal training or certification in planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and oversee an integrated programme plan.
• Ensure visibility across workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and progress indicators.
• Incorporate schedule updates from PMs to keep master schedule accurate.
• Coordinate dependencies and assess risks impacting timelines.
• Enable scenario planning for delays and alternative delivery.
• Participate in meetings and translate decisions into plans.
• Provide coaching and support to plan owners.
• Establish governance processes for schedule ownership and QA.
• Collaborate with Technical Development Leads to align product development plans.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning tools and reporting.
