Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Denmark seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams, oversee preventive and predictive maintenance of critical plant equipment, and ensure smooth production lines. You will drive reliability and uptime across the plant, coordinating across utilities, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

You will develop maintenance plans, monitor KPIs, maintain documentation, and mentor staff while complying with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading teams or projects with coaching or mentoring.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive maintenance and repairs.
• Plan and schedule maintenance with Production; implement TPM and SOPs.
• Develop KPIs and provide regular status reports to management.
• Ensure tasks comply with regulatory standards and document records.
• Mentor staff and drive continuous improvement within the team.
