Job summary

The University of Copenhagen invites applications for a five-year Operations Director position for the SCIENCE Makerspace at the Faculty of Science. You will lead the Makerspace team and oversee operations while ensuring DEIB principles are integrated in all decisions.

Based at the Northen Campus in Copenhagen, you will work with DIKU, NBI, and IND, coordinating with faculty and administration to bring the Makerspace vision to life and hire core staff and mentors.

Qualifications

• A five-year Operations Director role for a Makerspace.
• Experience coordinating multi-department projects is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Direct the SCIENCE Makerspace operations and manage the Makerspace team.
• Ensure DEIB principles are mainstreamed in all Makerspace decisions.
• Collaborate with DIKU, NBI, IND and the Deanery for Education during establishment and long-term engagement.
