Job summary
The SDU eScience Center is seeking a Senior Team Leader to guide the Research Support team in enabling researchers to leverage advanced digital infrastructure across Denmark. You will shape service development, provide consultancy, and collaborate with researchers and technical teams to align platforms with scientific needs.
The role combines leadership with technical insight, requiring ability to translate scientific and customer needs into practical services, and to work on-site in Odense with
Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, data science, computational science, or related field.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams, projects, or research initiatives.
- Strong understanding of computational research, scientific computing, data-intensive research, AI, or digital research infrastructure.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication in Danish and English.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Research Support team, including strategic planning and staff development.
- Provide high-quality support and consultancy for researchers and customers using computing, cloud, AI, and data platforms.
- Build relationships with researchers, departments, and external customers; identify emerging needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with user requirements and scientific developments.
