Job summary

University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Odense seeks an experienced Senior Team Leader to head the Research Support team at the SDU eScience Center. You will guide a skilled group and shape digital infrastructure adoption across Danish research.

You will lead strategic service development, ensure high-quality consultancy for researchers, and foster relationships with departments and external partners. On-site presence in Odense is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, data science, or related field.
• Strong leadership experience overseeing teams or projects.
• Experience with AI, HPC, or digital research infrastructure.
• Excellent Danish and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Research Support team, including strategic planning and staff development.
• Ensure high-quality support for researchers using computing, cloud, AI, and data platforms.
• Build relationships with researchers, departments, and external customers.
• Identify needs and contribute to new services and tools.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align infrastructure with user needs.
