Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Denmark is seeking a Principal Scientist for Automation of Bioanalytical Assays to lead automation projects in NCAS. You will collaborate with scientists, technicians and automation specialists to implement automated lab and software solutions while ensuring GMP/GLP compliance.

The role offers exposure across NCAS, with opportunities to shape digital laboratory workflows and drive continuous improvement within a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Scientific degree with experience in regulated laboratory environments.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory automation platforms.
• Basic programming skills in an object-oriented language (VB.NET, C#, Python).
• Experience with system qualification or validated computerized systems is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and proactive, service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation, qualification and validation of automation equipment and supporting IT systems.
• Develop and optimise automated workflows for bioanalytical assays.
• Provide first-line technical support for automated equipment and software.
• Improve data flows, system integrations and digital lab processes.
• Collaborate with end users to ensure solutions meet regulatory and scientific needs.
