Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Denmark seeks an Analytical Scientist to provide GMP expertise to CMOs and oversee analytical programs across the life cycle.

You will support regulatory submissions, handle tech transfers, and author SOPs, reports and transfer plans in a collaborative, international environment. Requires a Master’s in a relevant field and 3+ years in pharma.

Based in Høje-Taastrup, with potential travel; join External Analysis & QC alongside teams in USA and Denmark.

Qualifications

• Hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar pharmaceutical position.
• Hands-on GMP-regulated environment experience, e.g. QC laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with deviations, change controls, and out-of-specifications.
• Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and GMP expertise to CMOs and maintain robust analytical programs.
• Lead/regulatory submissions and support analytical activities across post-phase 3 to lifecycle.
• Support transfers and implement analytical methods with partners; author SOPs and review docs.
• Build and optimize internal processes and SOPs to support daily work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; travel up to 14 days/year as needed.
