Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Lead IT Auditor to lead and execute IT audits across business units, assessing internal controls, IT security, and regulatory compliance. The role requires 7+ years of auditing experience, strong cross-domain IT knowledge, and professional certifications preferred.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams, prepare detailed reports, and drive remediation actions in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Security or similar field.
• 7+ years of practical IT auditing experience.
• Strong cross-domain IT knowledge: networks, OS, information security, SDLC, cloud (MS Azure).
• Familiarity with CSA-CCM, ITIL, COBIT, BSI IT Grundschutz, NIST, CIS-18, ISO/IEC 27000.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or CIA preferred.
• Strong analytical, structured thinking and communication skills.
• Fluent English and good interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute IT audits across multiple units to assess internal controls and IT security.
• Evaluate IT processes, applications, and systems for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify IT risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps; provide actionable mitigations.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to address audit findings and ensure corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present to senior leadership.
• Monitor follow-up on audit remediation to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure audits align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
