Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Denmark is seeking a hands-on Team Lead for Human Data Operations focused on vision, image, and video data. You will lead a team of AI Tutors handling labeling, review, and evaluation across image and video domains, owning quality and delivery at scale.

You will combine people leadership with direct data review, KPI-driven improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with data, engineering, and operations teams to translate model requirements into effective labeling strategies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on data labeling, annotation, AI training, or related operations.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with data quality metrics and guideline-driven processes.
• Familiarity with Notion, Axiom, JIRA, Linear, or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of AI concepts and the role of high-quality data.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned human data projects, reviewing work for accuracy and adherence.
• Lead and coach a team of AI Tutors with regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Participate in labeling and review activities to maintain high standards.
• Manage guidelines, taxonomy processes, QA workflows, and certification standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to boost efficiency and throughput.
• Track team performance using KPIs and dashboards, including quality and send-back rates.
• Develop training materials and certification benchmarks; oversee certifications.
• Collaborate with Human Data Managers, other Team Leads, and Engineering on labeling strategies.
• Promote high performance through talent development and accountability.
• Document outcomes, risks, and results; propose process improvements and status updates.
• Represent the needs of AI Tutors and collaborate with the wider Human Data org.
