Job summary

Uber Eats is expanding its INCA (Inventory & Catalog) platform in Aarhus, Denmark. We are seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and build backend services in Go that scale catalog and inventory data for Uber Eats globally.

You will own services from design through production, work with cross-functional teams, and help shape the technical direction while maintaining real-time data accuracy under heavy load.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building backend services at scale.
• Experience coding with Go, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Ability to turn business problems into effective technical designs.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services in Go that power catalog and inventory data throughout Uber’s marketplace.
• Build and maintain systems that handle real-time updates and high-volume ingestion workloads.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align APIs and data models with shared goals.
• Push for high-quality design, testing, observability, and performance in everything we build.
• Take ownership of services from design through production and help shape the technical direction of the team.
