Job summary

GomSpace A/S is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead early-phase studies and development activities for space missions. In this role, you will transform mission concepts into structured programs, coordinating teams and ensuring delivery in line with ESA/ECSS standards.

You will oversee project execution, manage institutional relationships, and report progress to senior management. Successful candidates will have experience managing space-related projects and a Master's degree in a technical field. Locations include Aalborg, Denmark.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing space-related projects, preferably in early mission phases.
• Proven experience working with ESA, EU and/or national space agencies.
• Strong understanding of ESA/ECSS project and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of early-phase study and development projects for space missions.
• Coordinate work packages across engineering disciplines, product assurance, and ground segment teams.
• Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary interface with ESA and partners.
