Job summary

Lundbeck in Copenhagen is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to turn data, analytics and GenAI into commercial impact. You will design end-to-end ML and econometric models, deploy them with production readiness, and work directly with domain experts across global functions.

You’ll own the development of segmentation, forecasting and GenAI workflows, quantify business value, communicate trade-offs to stakeholders, and help scale analytics across the commercial organisation.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience building, deploying or supporting data science, ML, statistical or AI models.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with Git, documented and reusable code.
• Experience with predictive models in a pharmaceutical/commercial setting.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• MSc, PhD or equivalent practical experience in statistics, econometrics, data science, mathematics, computer science, engineering or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Translate commercial questions into data science and ML solutions that ship.
• Develop segmentation, targeting, propensity and causal inference models for commercial use cases.
• Build GenAI applications end to end, including RAG pipelines, assistants and agentic workflows.
• Work with siloed, fragmented or new data to unlock value.
• Evaluate models using robust metrics and explain trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Design models with production readiness in mind.
• Scope ambiguous commercial problems and set the standard for productionisation.
