Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Specialist in Performance Testing within R&D, based at our Aarhus headquarters. The role leads data acquisition strategy across disciplines, guiding core technologies and platforms to meet current and future measurement needs.

You will collaborate with engineering, testing and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that strengthen competitiveness and align with long-term objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with data acquisition systems, industrial measurement setups or performance testing environments.
• Experience in technical roadmap ownership, technology development, or capability-building roles.
• Deep understanding of sensor technologies, hardware/software interfaces, and data quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the data acquisition strategy across all performance-testing disciplines, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
• Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for data acquisition, identifying future capability needs and securing investments.
• Oversee development work to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.
• Oversee improvement initiatives to refine tools, processes, and guidelines for reliability and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance on data acquisition technologies and promote cross-functional alignment.
• Serve as technical lead for the DAQ software platform, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with measurement needs.
