Novo Nordisk CLINiC in Gentofte, Denmark, seeks a Clinical Research Physician to combine clinical work with medical and scientific leadership across trial setup and execution, ensuring participant safety, high-quality data and alignment with Novo R&D strategy.

You will lead trials, act as PI or Sub-Investigator, oversee screening and visits, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and IT system development, with on-call or on-site shifts according to trial activities.

Qualifications

• MD degree with solid clinical experience; PhD advantageous.
• Experience conducting clinical trials as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator; early‑phase trials are a plus.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Experience managing acute medical emergencies.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills in an international setting.
• Fluency in Danish for interaction with trial participants and strong English for internal collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Lead and conduct clinical trials, including protocol review, trial execution, medical oversight and informal leadership of trial teams.
• Act as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator, responsible for participant safety, trial conduct and data integrity.
• Conduct screening, in-house, overnight and ambulatory visits; shift work (on-call or on-site) as needed.
• Provide medical and scientific expertise to stakeholders and support training of colleagues.
• Drive risk assessments, manage protocol deviations and quality processes.
• Actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives and IT system development.
