Job summary

Novo Nordisk CLINiC, based in Gentofte, Denmark, is seeking a Clinical Research Physician to combine hands-on clinical work with medical oversight and trial leadership across early-phase trials.

The role requires an MD with strong clinical judgment, experience in clinical research, and proficiency in ICH-GCP. Danish interaction with participants and English for internal collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• MD degree with solid clinical experience; PhD is an advantage.
• Experience as PI or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials; early-phase experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in managing acute medical emergencies.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct safe, high-quality early-phase trials with medical oversight.
• Act as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator with responsibility for safety and data integrity.
• Perform screening and visits; participate in on-call or on-site activities as trial needs require.
• Provide medical/scientific input to stakeholders and mentor colleagues.
• Drive risk assessments and quality processes, support cross-functional initiatives and IT system development.
