Job summary

Etteplan seeks a Principal Consultant to lead embedded systems and edge AI advisory for industrial clients. You will drive early-phase engagements, frame problems, assess feasibility, and define actionable directions that translate into robust architectures and roadmaps.

You will influence senior stakeholders, bridge strategy and execution, and mentor engineers to scale internal capabilities across Business Units within a global industrial engineering context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in consulting, advisory, or senior client-facing roles.
• Strong foundation in embedded software and hardware development.
• Understanding of industrial AI requirements including reliability, observability, safety, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate complex challenges into structured directions and roadmaps.
• Experience across industrial domains and international environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead early-phase client engagements in embedded systems and edge AI for industrial environments.
• Advise on edge AI adoption, architecture modernization, and value creation in production systems.
• Translate challenges into clear embedded product statements, architectures, and roadmaps.
• Support sales/pre-sales with technical leadership in strategic discussions.
• Mentor engineers and architects, scaling capabilities within advisory teams.
• Drive AI-first mindset in software and embedded design across business units.
