Global CMC at ALK is at the beginning of an important digitalization journey, and our department, Laboratory Automation Development, is looking for a hands‑on Laboratory Automation & Digitalization Developer to help build the foundation for our future digital landscape.
This is a key role for an experienced profile who enjoys developing practical solutions, automating workflows, connecting systems and data sources, and working closely with both users and IT. You will not be joining a mature digital setup - you will help shape it from the start.
You will work across cross‑functional areas with digital solutions such as LIMS, ELN, equipment connectivity, data transfers, visualization, automation, data and AI platforms and future digital infrastructure. The role is ideal for you if you can translate user needs into robust technical solutions and want to help build standards, tools, and ways of working from the ground up.

Experience with cloud‑based data platforms, LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, equipment connectivity, GxP, CSV/CSA, data integrity, audit trails, or validated systems is considered an advantage, but not a strict requirement if you have the right technical mindset and willingness to learn.
To succeed in this role, you should enjoy building practical solutions that solve real operational problems. You are curious, structured, and self‑driven, and you are motivated by helping define how digital solutions should be developed, governed, and maintained in the future.
