Job summary

ALK is seeking a hands-on Laboratory Automation & Digitalization Developer to help build the foundation for our future digital landscape. You will develop practical solutions, automate workflows, and connect systems in a cross-functional setting.

The role focuses on data-driven apps, dashboards, and data integrity while working with LIMS, ELN, and other lab data platforms. Hybrid work with Denmark offices is available.

Qualifications

• Academic or technical degree as listed.
• Hands-on experience developing data processing & automation workflows.
• Strong SQL and data exchange formats knowledge (CSV/XML/JSON).
• Experience with visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik/Dash/Streamlit/Plotly).
• Ability to work independently in a developing digital environment.
• Good communication with scientific and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop digital solutions to improve workflows, data handling, reporting, and decision-making with end-users.
• Automate manual processes including calculations, data transfers, mapping, and recurring reporting.
• Build data-driven apps, dashboards, workflows, and visualization tools with practical value.
• Enable connectivity between analytical equipment, LIMS/ELN/databases, and data storage systems.
• Collaborate with IT to establish scalable, secure digital infrastructure.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, version control, and data governance.
